Please note that If you are looking to travel with your pet this summer, please see below update on the new EU pet travel rules taking effect from 22 April 2026.

EU pet passports will no longer be valid for UK residents travelling to the EU with dogs, cats, or ferrets. EU pet passports may only be issued to owners whose main residence is within the European Union.

UK residents will need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for travel to the EU.

There are no changes to UK entry requirements. We recommend checking destination-specific entry requirements before travel.
