Dental, Scale and Polish

Regular dental check-ups are important to identify early signs of dental disease. Following an oral health exam the vet will provide an estimate for the recommended dental procedure; this can range from a scale and polish to dental extractions.

The use of dental x-rays allows us to assess how the teeth look not just on the surface but also beneath the gum line. If your pet shows signs of bad breath, red gums, difficulty eating, or pawing at their mouth it may be time for a dental check.
